State variables and cyclic bounds between different samples
q_boundCyclic: If the state variable is tied between samples 1 and 2, the state value at the beginning of sample 2 should correspond to:
the state value at the beginning of sample 1 + (the change in state value over sample 1, multiplied by sample 1 temporal weight)
Temporal weight = the number of similar periods this sample is representing; do not confuse with sample probability, which can be used to give weights to different parallel samples.
